New comedy promises fun for fans of massacres and puppies
A dual winner at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, the Sheborg Massacre from writer-director Daniel Armstrong will release April 20. Monster Pictures debuts the action comedy on DVD.
An alien fugitive crash lands into a local puppy farm. Locals are soon transformed into mutated robot-like killing machines with a taste for puppy flesh. It's up to Dylan (Whitney Duff) and Eddie (Daisy Masterman), a pair of self-proclaimed political activists, are the final hope to avert total annihilation.
Soon compelled to act despite the grave danger they confront, the two best friends forever must fight their way past cops, city officials and cybernetic dog butchers in order to destroy the evil SheBorg and save the planet. There will be blood!
Also starring Nathan Wilson and Emma Louise Wilson, as the diabolical eponymous villain, the Sheborg Massacre promises frights, fun and a cornucopia of injokes for fans of puppies and er, massacres.
