Tribeca hit Loitering with Intent arrives December

Loitering with Intent, the Adam Rapp directed ensemble comedy will receive a DVD release from Feature Films. Starring Michael Godere, Marisa Tomei, Sam Rockwell, Brian Geraghty and Natasha Lyonne, the film, which focuses on a pair of unemployed actors turned screenwriters struggling to create a script during a holiday retreat, is out December 9.

After a chance run-in with a film producer, out of work actors (Godere and Ivan Martin), who are stuck in a casting "age void", need to come up with a script fast. They head to the seclusion of upstate New York to churn out their masterpiece, but soon realise they're in for more than they bargained for.

Soon the guys get derailed by the appearance of a beautiful gardener, Eva (Isabelle McNally) and Dominic's sister, Gigi (Tomei). To add to the distractions, Gigi's boyfriend Wayne (Rockwell) arrives, a soldier still suffering from PTSD, with his dim-witted brother Devon (Brian Geraghty) in tow, creating even more havoc. A looming deadline and complicated personal histories turn the retreat into a setting of romantic entanglements and unexpected conflicts.

Nominated Best Narrative Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival Loitering with Intent has been called "clever and relatable" by Screen Comment while The Playlist describes it as "very funny, ramshackle."

"It's a comedy concerned with myopia," Chuck Bowen notes in Slant Magazine, "that doesn't succumb to the self-obsessed pitfalls of that subject."
