Feature Films kicks off 2015 with Montana

UK actioner Montana, directed by Mo Ali and starring Lars Mikkelsen (The Killing) and Adam Deacon (Ali G Indahouse),is the first offering from Feature Films in 2015. Set in the rough hood of London's East End, the film explores the relationship of a former Serbian commando and a 14 year old drugs courier, who in partnership plot revenge against a powerful crime lord and his ruthless lieutenants. Montana will be out on Blu-ray and DVD February 14.

Written by Peter Lowe and Jeremy Sheldon, Montana also features Brad Moore, Michelle Fairley and McKell David as the titular hero, who despite dropping out of school wears a school uniform.and carries a back pack (think Fresh) to evade police detection. A contrast of Boyz in the Hood and The Karate Kid, Montana observes the bonds that build between the heroes as Montana, in preparation to take on the mutually shared enemies, is trained and disciplined as an assassin and learns, along the way, the true meaning of honour and respect.

Feature Films broadens its slate in March with the UK horror thriller Shame the Devil which follows a London detective who tries to solve a serial murder case where the victims are hooked up to a lie detector test. Meanwhile alien conspiracy documentary Sirius, narrated by Thomas Jane, puts the spotlight on alien technology and the logistics of interstellar travel.
