Ed Hardy: A Reflection

Prior to interviewing Emiko Omori, I scoffed at the concept of making a documentary about the most ridiculous and short lived clothing brand worn by what's far and wide understood as generally the douchiest demographic of people in Melbourne.

I'm not one to admit this a great deal, but I'm so very glad that in this instance I was so very wrong.

The film opens with Francesca Passalacqua, Hardy's wife of 37 years, describing going into hospital for an operation and the nurse saying that she hoped that she had killed whoever put that (tattoo) on her body. Passalacqua was shocked at the relative ignorance of this woman and simply told her "No, I married him!"
